Say it a tech miracle, Google translate created its own language

Google translate technology is used to translate text from one language to the other. It does this by identifying the latent material of two different languages. This will be pathway for many new things and discoveries.

It is often said that experience is the best teacher, but so far it held good for humans but now you can relate this proverbial truth to artificial intelligence also. Because such thing has hit the screen when it is reported that Google translate has learnt its own language to translate, what is general terms called ‘Interlingua’.

Interlingua is an an artificial language, devised for machine translation, that makes explicit the distinctions necessary for successful translation into a target language even where they are not present in the source language. It is an artificial international language formed of elements common to the Romance languages, designed primarily for scientific and technical use.

So far English was a bridge between any two language translation. Every time you keyed in some text, the app had to switch back to English and then translate it into the target language. But with this milestone Google translate can now translate any text into any language without a medium, which is more like a human effort. This will bring much accuracy and reliability in the realm of translation world. It will be able to translate at a faster rate.

Google used their artificial intelligence for games. But to everyone’s amazement, this AI has taught itself it own way of encryption. According to Wired, the AI used its translation technique to create its own language.

Google installed GOOGLE NEURAL MACHINE TRANSLATION (GNMT) last September. The purpose of this machine was to consider the whole sentence in place of words or phrases for translation. In a very short time the system was able to teach itself its own ways of translation without being programmed for it

The system learnt this by translation algorithms and is now able to do it without any human interventions. Google stated that  their computer scientists merged additional language data to the system  to make it more reliable and accurate. A great achievement is that AI was able to translate without the help any example by creating a language on its own.

In layman’s terms, Google is now able to adopt any language without the help of instructions. This feat is very important for the future of Artificial intelligence in general and translation technology in particular.
